SAMPLE BEFORE YOU DIAGNOSE

Any HPCR diesel running rough, hard-starting, or no-starting — pull a fuel sample BEFORE any other diagnostic. 60 seconds with a clear glass jar from the water separator drain tells you what you\'re facing. Half the "bad injector" cases we see are contaminated fuel that gets diagnosed late, after $1,500 of unnecessary parts replacement.

When contamination is confirmed: drain → filter(s) → flush low-pressure side → fresh verified fuel → only THEN evaluate any remaining HPCR component damage. Sequence prevents comebacks.
